New Zealand's Best Spot is located in the eastern corner of the beautiful Bay of Plenty (named by Captain James Cook).

Travel approx 16 kms (15 minutes) out of Opotiki on SH 2 towards Gisborne and look for signs in the paddocks that say Natures Edge, Riverview Cottage & Waioeka Kayaks on the river side of the road.

Approx 6kms into Waioeka Gorge

Additional directions:
Once you have gone along the long straight road out of Opotiki you will start to enter the Waioeka Gorge (bushy terrain) we are approx 6 kms into the Waioeka Gorge on the river side. Be careful driving in the Gorge as it has some very sharp bends.
